The EFCC is acronym for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. This commission is a government anti-graft agency tasked with the responsibility of dealing with financial and economic crimes, among others.

The EFCC is established by her Act, the EFCC Act, and the same statute guides the commission in all of its activities: establishment, powers, functions, etc.
